About Our Office

The Cone Beam CT scan is one of our greatest technological assets. Designed to be safer, more efficient, and more effective than a traditional medical CT scan, Cone Beam technology minimizes your radiation exposure by about 200 times. The scan will rotate 360 degrees around your head, taking 30 images of your upper and lower jaws. Each 3D digital image can be manipulated and segmented into half-millimeter sections and used to create a treatment plan for dental implant placement, bone grafting, and pathology treatment. Dr. Akroush is one of very few doctors with this dental implant technology and it helps him provide the most exceptional dental care.

Oral Dentist Camera
Digital photographs from our intraoral cameras give us a clearer view of areas that can be difficult to see in a standard visual exam. They’re also a vital patient education tool that lets you see exactly what we see in your mouth.

Digital X-rays emit less radiation than conventional X-rays and use smooth digital sensors instead of sharp X-ray film. Because digital X-rays don’t require any lengthy chemical processing, the images are available in seconds.

Dentist Comfort
Patient comfort is a priority of ours. If you arrive early, we'll treat you to a freshly-brewed cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. We also offer soft and cozy pillows in all of our treatment rooms, because we know that the difference is in the details.
Let's face it, sitting in the dental chair can be boring. With your head tilted back, you can't read or watch a handheld video. Or can you? Our office provides you with Carl Zeiss cinemizer plus video glasses. These amazing glasses let you watch movies or TV from an iPod, projected on a 45-inch virtual screen six feet in front of you! Sit back, relax, and let yourself be taken away.
